Testimonials
Pet owners alike have tried Nurtured Pets’ Anti-LickStrip Prevent® and have been impressed with the results. Whether their pet had an obsessive licking or biting problem or their pet was recovering from surgery and could not leave their surgical site along, the strip was a success.
"Thank you to whoever invented the "Anti Licking Strips"! I am so grateful to find something that helped our Golden Retriever/Lab to stop licking a wound on her back leg. We tried several other things (bitter tape, green apple spray and a plastic cone). She was intent on licking the wound. After putting on the “anti lick strip”, we were able to take her cone off. After one taste of the strip, she left it alone for the three days until the strip was removed. Again, we are so grateful for this product!"

"I am your newest fan! I Recently had a growth removed from my dog's tail. I happened to see the lick strips at a feed store and decided that it would be a good thing to have on hand at home. Boy, am I glad!!! Later that day my little guy began to lick at the suture site...I stuck a strip on...one lick later and NO interest!!! I have worked for 10 + years at Vet Hospitals and this product is so simple and effective, I thought..."Now, why didn't I think of that!?!?"...GREAT JOB...keep up the innovative ideas!"

"I just wanted to write to say thank you for a fantastic product - Anti-Lick Strips. I purchased them from the store for my cat who has had an operation on her tail and managed to bend the e-collar to bite the stitches. I tried these after searching on Google and hey, presto they worked. The cat has had the collar removed, is leaving the tail dressings alone, now eating and not depressed from wearing the collar. THANK YOU SO MUCH. One happy customer from the UK."

“This strip has been on my enthusiastic Lab chewer for ALMOST TWO HOURS, and she hasn't gotten it off. Wow! Thank you.” “…I will be a customer for life. I don't see her stopping this chewing EVER. We all hate the bonnet of shame.”

“Quite a while ago I requested a sample of your Anti-lick strip prevent. I recieved it and put it in with my pup's supplies. My black lab is quite the hunter and one day sprinted off after a groundhog. On her return to me I noticed she was walking funny, long story short she had tangled in chicken wire leaving a gapping wound on her side. I cleaned the wound and put medication on her wound.Your product was essential in keeping the wound safe till I could get her to the vet.”

“Thank you for the trial package of anti-lick strips. We have had an issue with a hot spot that is almost 2 years old and my vet wants to do a surgical treatment remove it to see if we can get it to heal. I placed the strip on the spot and (you didn't warn us not to inhale) and got an immediate reaction from my golden retriever. He is just a little upset with me but after the initial sniff of the strip he has not touched or even looked at the spot. I can handle a little pouting if it will get this spot to heal. Thank you Paige and Simon”

"Hi, when I attended Crufts this year I purchased a sample box of Anti-Lickstrips and spoke to a lady from Ohio. I used my samples very successfully to stop one of my dogs from creating a 'lick granuloma' when allergy season rolled around this year. Yay!"
Best regards, Liz R.
“We used the Anti-Lick Strip on our Pitbull, Bentley. He recently had part of his tail amputated due to an accident. We had gone through six e-collars, we were ready to put on the seventh, but used the Anti-Lick Strip instead. He never bothered his tail again! It is the only product that worked for him.”

"Nurtured Pets Anti-Lick Strips really do help my miniature dachshund puppy not bother her surgery site. She hasn't licked it ever since I put the Anti-Lick Strip on Itsy. Thank you for having such a good product. From one happy 4 legged customer,

"I used this product on my dog when she was spayed about a month ago worked great. She was licking her stitches after surgery so I put on a pet bandage for three days. She never touched the stitches again. I was surprised that it stayed stuck to the dog that long without falling off." -Tom L.
“My dog had a licking problem. I put the Anti-Lick Strip on the problem area, and it broke him from licking. He licked it once, and never again.” -Barb A.
“One taste of that strip and he was done with that particular taste and smell. The dog no longer tried to remove the strip. I would definitely use this product instead of a cone collar. It is so much kinder and more animal friendly.” -Lesa L.
“I tried the strip on my pug who was forever licking her paw. She did not lick her paw while the strip was on. I liked the fact that the strip came off easily; it did not irritate her eyes or nose. -Pamela B.
"My Boston Terrier, Zoey, recently underwent surgery. I received the Anti-Lick Strips two days after her surgery. The difference was like night and day; before the strips she was constantly licking and biting at her stitches. The second after I put the strip on she was her normal self again. It seemed like she didn’t even know the stitches were still there! I highly recommend this product for those that love their pets and hate to see them in pain.” -Zeb G.
"One wall in my home had a slight nick in it when our 6 month old terrier noticed it. He began by biting the rough edges and tearing at them. That led into digging into the wall. Before I realized what was going on, he had a six-inch area carved out. I immediately thought of the Anti-Lick strips as a deterrent and applied an 'X' of them over the spot. Sure enough, he came back and sniffed the strips. He sneezed, and proceeded to bite at them. I saw that his tongue was a little affected as he lapped at his lips a few times. After that - he didn't touch it or even look at the spot again. I love the anti-lick strips!" -Cynthia M.
